A Toledo area woman, running for Congress, is trying to unseat incumbent republican Bob Latta for the fifth district seat in November.
Democrat Angela Zimmann held a news conference in front of Cooper Tire in Findlay earlier this evening in an effort to get her name out there and to show how she is different than her opponent.
Zimmann, believes the main issues in the election surround the economy and jobs in northwest Ohio.
Zimmann received the endorsement of the United Steelworkers Union at Cooper Tire.
That union was locked out for several months after they rejected the company's final offer.
In 2007 Zimmann was elected to the governing board of the Lucas county Education Service Center.
Last year she served as regional president for the Northwest Ohio School Boards Association.
