The Show Must Go On

Discussion between the board of the Lima Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Crafton Beck has continued over the past few months, with Beck's future with the symphony unclear.

Saturday night, Beck took the stage, still with no definitive response from the board. Although nothing has been made official, the future looks promising for Beck, who kicked off his 16th season with the symphony orchestra.

The ups and downs of Beck's future has also taken its toll on the musicians, but promising news from Beck and the board, helped make taking the stage a little easier.

With much on his plate, Beck is taking things one day at a time. Over the past few days, he diverted his focus towards Saturday's opening concert. If Saturday night's performance is a sign of things to come, residents can expect yet another year from Crafton Beck, because after all, the show must go on.
