DELPHOS, OHIO -
With their best zombie growls, more than 50 people took to the streets of Delphos, to take part in the first Delphos Zombie Walk. Cole Bellows came from Spencerville with his friends to take part in the event. With a love for Halloween and zombies, Bellows found the community's support surprising, yet exciting.
With Halloween right around the corner, Sonya Osting saw the opportunity to bring the growing interest in zombies to Delphos. New to both the city and its residents, Osting says feedback from the community was amazing.
When planning the event, Osting went directly to Brentilys Steakhouse to host the after party, and while many businesses would turn the offer down the offer due to it's uncommon nature, owner Emily Niese is thankful to be part of the unique community event.
With a turnout of around 75 zombies, many people expect the event to be back next year.
