Lima Ohio -
The city of Lima's Neighborhood Concerns Committee meeting ended abruptly Monday night, leaving residents wondering why.
The Lima Allen County Neighborhoods In Partnership (LACNIP) group met with the Neighborhood Concerns committee on Monday to discuss leasing fire station number 4. Nell Lester, a LACNIP representative, says the meeting was helpful at first, but eventually led to her wondering why council members were aggressive when questioning her.
The meeting ended abruptly after Lester refused to submit a proposed budget. Councilman Kurt Neeper says tonight's events changed his support for the leasing agreement.
The future of fire station number 4 is still unknown. The two parties plan to meet again.
