The southeast side of Lima will soon see the benefits of the newly constructed water tower at Central Point Business Park.
City officials say the elevated tower is full and has had the necessary testing done. The one and a half million gallons of water in the tank is ready to be put on line. The last step is to make adjustments to the altitude valve which controls the level of water in the bowl.
Lima Deputy Utilities Director Mike Caprella says the tower was constructed with future development in mind. Caprella hopes that the tower will be online with the system this Friday.
