Ohio's unemployment rate has dropped slightly to 7%
after three consecutive months of holding steady at the same rate.
The State Department of Job and Family Services said Friday that seasonally
adjusted joblessness in Ohio was 7% in September, down from 7.2% in August. This is the last update on job numbers that swing
state voters will see before the election.
The state's unemployment
rate remains below the national rate. The U.S. unemployment rate
tumbled to 7.8% in September from 8.1% in August.
