Writer, director Eric Hayden's science fiction thriller The Last Push portrays a trip to Jupiter's moon Europa....there's a problem on the way there and one astronaut is killed, while the other deals with trying to return back to earth.
Hayden was in Wapakoneta Saturday night at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum to present his movie to a small but appreciative crowd.
Hayden tried to make the movie seem plausible without resorting to typical science fiction devices.
Armstrong Air and Space Museum director Chris Burton was impressed with how Hayden portrayed the science of space travel.
The Last Push won Best Picture in this year's IFS Film Festival in Los Angeles and was named the Best Space Movie in the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival.
