
St. Marys was busier than normal this weekend, as the Kiwanis Club hosted their 43rd annual "Walk With Nature" Fall Festival. People gathered at Memorial Park in downtown St. Marys, enjoying crafts, food and beautiful weather. Part of the festival, a walk with nature event, allowing people to walk along the historic canal, enjoying the sights and sounds of a quieter side of the city.
Over the years the event has grown, becoming something people look forward to each and every year. Joining St. Marys Kiwanis Club for a second year, St. Marys Community Partnership, who offered historical rides through the city on a street train donated by Lost in the 50s Diner. Along the tour, riders were told about historical structures and the history of their beloved city. For Jeremy Holtzapple, the event hits home as it allows him to share his home town history with others.
As this weekend's events come to an end, St. Marys Community Partnership looks towards the holiday season with St. Marys "Festival of Lights" throughout the month of December.
