The Lima Auto Task Force met to talk about future advances for the group. Members are working on a new mission statement that would reach more people within the Lima community.
According to Mayor David Berger, they're also looking to expand their reach to other automotive industries within Allen County. We asked Mayor Berger about the auto bailout, which has been a topic brought up more than once during the election. He says Lima would have been hard hit without the bailout. Mayor Berger said that 16,500 jobs would have been lost in Lima if it were not for the bailout.
