Wednesday was the second time the country celebrated national Food Day. Lima has its own event to celebrate, but to also discuss how food affects us all. It's something that we all have in common, the need for food. And it impacts our lives locally in so many different ways. One of those issues is mental health. The healthier people eat, the healthier the brain becomes. Representatives from local fitness centers were also at the event. According to Jerry Courtney, President of the Lima YMCA, Allen County needs to work on living healthier lifestyles.
