Thursday night was the third night Senator Sherrod Brown and Josh Mandel, candidates for Ohio's U.S. Senate Seat, faced off, making their final case as to why they should be sent to Washington. Josh Mandel said tonight that Senator Sherrod Brown only represented his party, but Senator Brown said Mandel has done the same. The candidates talked about everything from the bail out of the auto industry to woman's rights. One major issues was jobs. Senator Brown said that Ohio is moving in the right direction. Mandel said that employment among women, African Americans, and the middle class is down, and that his plan would put Ohioans back to work. With just two weeks from the election, both candidates had their last chance to reach out to Ohio voters. One thing that was not mentioned tonight was lima's joint systems manufacturing center. Funding for the M1A2 tanks made in Lima is on the chopping block to save money in the budget.
