Senator Sherrod Brown Visits Lima

Friday evening Senator Sherrod Brown stopped by Lima's UAW Hall to talk about the auto industry bailout and how it helped manufacturing cities like Lima. Sherrod Brown was welcomed by Lima auto workers tonight that support the auto industry bail out, something that his opponent, Republican Josh Mandel has adamantly opposed throughout the campaign and in numerous debates. One recent concern is outsourcing auto industry jobs to China. Recent news articles have said Jeep is considering moving shift production from cities like Toledo to China. Josh Mandel has said he would make more of an effort to stand up for unfair trade with China, and Senator Brown he and other senators have already worked on those trade laws. Senator Brown says he stands by his decision to bail out the auto industry, saying it was what Ohio needed to move its economy forward. With about a week and a half until the election, Senator Brown told us that he is confident voters want to see less tax cuts for the wealthy, and more focus on middle class workers
