Gospel Talent Showcase at Civic Center

Gospel music filling Lima's Civic Center this afternoon.

Ten local gospel bands competed in the initial Lima Community Gospel Explosion Talent Showcase. Organizers say the event was much more than a showcase of talent that this area has to offer the bands were also competing for prize money which goes to their home church.

Organizers hope to make the gospel talent showcase an annual event.
