Terrance Grant is the founder of Grace TLC, a recovery home, helping addicts find God, gain employment and turn their lives around. In 2008, Grant decided he wanted to help others recover from addiction. Through community support, God, his experience and passion, he seeks to help others.
At his side since the beginning, Bobbie Spence has seen Grant's passion to help others, and admires his willingness to improve lives one addict at a time.
Through a one year, three phase process, men come in and are kept under a watchful eye and curfew. During their time with Grace TLC, they attempt to find employment and learn the responsibilities needed to live on their own. Grant and Grace TLC is currently housing and helping a dozen men turn their lives around, and hope to keep the door open to those in need for years to come.
All eight Jefferson Award winners will be honored at a dinner on March 26th. Hometown Stations very own Holly Geaman will MC the event.
