After being charged for multiple burglaries in two
counties, a local man is now facing the consequences for his actions.
Carl Raymond appeared before Judge Reed to be sentenced for three
burglaries, which are second degree felonies. He faces 12 years in
prison for his crimes in Allen County and 9 years for his crimes in Auglaize County. Judge Reed ordered he face them consecutively for a
total of 21 years behind bars.
Raymond was addicted to prescription
pain killers at the time of his crimes and says he pleaded guilty and
cooperated with detectives because he wasn't raised this way and wanted
to give peace to his victims. Raymond also has to pay over 57-thousand
dollars in total restitution to his four victims.
