It is one of the biggest and most anticipated gatherings in downtown Lima every year. The Ellis Family Easter Dinner is set to serve up its Easter meal for the 22nd straight year on Sunday at the Veterans Civic Center. Last year's dinner fed nearly 15-hundred people, the same amount is expected this year. Organizer Kleet Ellis says the food and the volunteers are ready to go. The event will run from 11am to 1pm, although a number of people get to the Civic Center early and stay late to enjoy the time with people they may only see once-a-year.
