For Josh and Jeremy Brinkman, recycling old paint is becoming a profitable business.
The brothers have set up operations in a barn on Middle Point Wetzel road.
It originally started as an inexpensive way to repaint the apartments they own in the area.
The Brinkman's business, American Paint Recyclers has deals with solid waste districts in Auglaize and Van Wert counties to process unneeded used water-based paint.
A deal with Hancock county is now in the works.
You can find their paint on the shelves at the Lima ReStore.
There's white, gray and tan which are priced at 50 dollars a container.
Manager Karen Wagner is pushing to get the recycled paint in all of the ReStores in Ohio because of how well it is selling in Lima.
