I'm an Ohio native, born and raised in Youngstown. This isn't my first rodeo in TV, but it is my first in the anchor chair. Most recently I was a one-man-band reporter and fill-in weather forecaster in Dayton; before that I reported in Erie, PA and Zanesville, OH where I also did weekend weather.
I took this opportunity because I felt like I still had a lot more to contribute as a journalist, and I hope you will see that in my work. Here at Your Hometown Stations, I'll be producing and anchoring the 5pm and 10pm newscasts on Fox Lima.
Communicating the news to you on a nightly basis is a goal I've always had and it's a huge responsibility that I take very seriously.
Away from news, music is a huge part of my life; I earned my journalism degree from Belmont University in Nashville, TN (whose music business program is arguably the best in the country), and was fortunate enough to play my share of shows and meet some of my musical heroes there.
In my spare time, I spend many hours at the gym trying to stay in shape; I play and watch a lot of golf, and enjoy football and basketball too. I do have a weakness for shopping (it's terrible, I know!) and like to eat at any good Italian restaurant I can find.
Telling your stories is very important to me and the staff at Your Hometown Stations; so if there's something going on in your community that you're proud of, concerned about, or want answers to, please don't hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
