Early this summer downtown Lima will be getting a new tenant.
Maverick Media on North Cable Road is moving its operations to Town Square.
It was late last month that Matt Childers announced the Childers Media Group had purchased Maverick Media's 5 local radio stations from its Connecticut-based owners. Now comes word they are moving.
The Ohio State Beauty Academy awnings are gone at 53 and 57 Town Square.
Childers says this a move from a space standpoint they needed to make and it comes at the right time as interest in the downtown is rebounding.
Childers says the renovation work has been going on since January. He says try to imagine an old Chicago or New York advertising agency, that's what the new space will look like.
They are hoping for an early summer move-in.
Childers says the studio's will be on the first floor of 57 Town Square, while shows like Ron Williams on 940 WCIT and Sportstalk with Koza on 93.1 The Fan will be on the second floor of 53 Town Square.
