The investigation into Monday's vicious dog attack is
moving forward. Lima police detective, Tim Clark, tells Your News Now that
he is making progress on finding the owner of the dogs and the property
where the dogs came from.
30 year old Dominique Badea is still
recovering at St. Rita's Medical Center. Medical center spokesperson, Linda Chartrand, tells Your News Now that Badea's condition has been upgraded
from critical to stable.
Badea was using the Ottawa Riverwalk near the Elizabeth Street Bridge, Monday morning, when two cane corsos attacked
him, leaving him with wounds to his arms, legs and face. Eyewitnesses
attempted to get the dogs away from Badea, but were unsuccessful. A deputy
dog warden who came on scene shot and killed one dog, the other was
caught and has been quarantined.
