Balancing the check book and paying the bills on time. Monday, Apollo Career Center junior government students found out just what it's like
to be on their own.
They took what they've learned during the past
quarter about financial literacy and put it to the test. The
students were given a career, a pay check and a stack of bills. The
goal is to have money left over after the necessary payments are made. Apollo Junior, Anthony
Evans, was able to end up with 700 dollars left after paying his monthly
bills. His advice is, only get what you need, and buy cheap.
