A chronic and often disabling disease of the central nervous system, Multiple Sclerosis brought together hundreds of people to raise money and awareness for the disease. The 19th annual MS Walk, hosted by the Northwestern Ohio chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, raised thousands of dollars for MS research.
Participants of all ages, walked from the University of Findlay, down Main Street and back again, with one-, two-, and five-mile routes. Last year marked the biggest turnout in event history (400 participants), but this year set a new record. Funds raised from the walk will be used for education, advocacy and research efforts for multiple sclerosis.
