Allen County -
Residents had a chance to ask questions and find out about upcoming projects around the city. Some of these projects include a $1.4 million project to improve streets and a $1.7 million project to add LED energy efficient lights, various curb work, and the plating of trees.
Most of the funding for both these projects comes from federal and state funds.
Among other projects discussed at the meeting were a water treatment system project and another project to update meter reading systems. Mayor Berger stressed the importance of these city focus groups. He said he wants to hear from the community since these upcoming projects and changes affect them.
The location of these meetings changes from neighborhood to neighborhood but they are always open to the public.
