Delphos, OH -
In 2006, Delphos's $31 million wastewater treatment plant was expanded to make room for food processing companies within the city. In 2009, just three years later, the plant suffered capacity problems, operating at 95 to 100 percent.
Council meeting Tuesday night to discuss current issues with the plant that seem to relate to previous problems. Safety Service Director, Greg Berquist, could not release details on what was discussed during a two hour executive session, but said current issues revolve around capacity problems and says he will be working with engineers to determine what the city needs to do.
