You know summer is right around the corner when hundreds of people start to flock to downtown Lima every Friday.
Today was the official start of the season for Rally in the Square.
Hundreds of people from all over the area come out to hear a new band play every Friday and just enjoy themselves.
Opening up the rally this year was the band Indoorfins.
Rally in the Square Manager, Kay Vanmeter says the event has been going on for about 25 years now and keeps on growing.
An average Friday sees about 1,200 people come through the square. Bands start playing at 6:30 until they stop at 9:00 and admission is a one dollar donation to Art Space Lima.
