The Lima Symphony Orchestra has new leadership entering its 60th anniversary season, and it's a familiar face.
Elizabeth Brown is the new Executive Director of the symphony.
She has been with the L-S-O as director of marketing and communications for the past 5 seasons.
For the time being she'll handle both jobs.
She replaces Marie Drum who retired.
Brown is a Lima native and holds a law degree, along with a bachelor's and masters.
Brown is excited about the promotion. She says the Board of Directors is energized and she is also ready to go.
Brown will have a full plate, planning and directing L-S-O operations and managing all human and financial resources.
Also overseeing community outreach, fundraising, budgeting, and staffing.
