The City of Delphos has faced capacity problems at their wastewater treatment plant in the past, and it once again is an issue.
Safety Services Director Greg Berquist says the City of Delphos is currently looking at three design options.
He says these plans are very expensive and that is why it's taking the city so long to work through.
Their current design has a capacity of 12 million gallons a day and only uses that much during storm events or high water.
On an average day the plant has about 3 million gallons pass through it.
