Alger-2pm- Parade will run from the old Alger school to North Main. The theme of this years's parade is "Time Marches On".
Bluffton- 9:30- Parade will start at Bluffton Town Hall. Parade will proceed from Main Street to Grove Street. Will end at the Maple Grove Cemetery where a memorial will be held at 10 am.
Celina-9am- OUR Home Resource Center is sponsoring a new 5k. Let Your Colors Fly at the Mercer County Fairgrounds is a fundraiser. The event will recognize active members of the military and veterans. The goal is to have the runners start our in all white. While the runners maneuver the course, paint will be thrown or spayed on the runners making for a colorful finish.
Continental-11:15am- a service will be held on the south side of the American Legion Hall. Mike Morman will be the guest speaker. Morman spent 42 years in the United States Marine Corp. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9:15 at American Legion Post 541.
Delphos-10:45 am-Delpos will have a speaker, Sergeant Paul Joseph. He served from Feb 1982-December 2008 in the United State Army. The memorial service will begin at 11am at Veterans Memorial Park at Fifth and Main. The parade begins at 10:45 from East 2nd north onto Main Street. Joseph is currently the Postmaster in Celina.
Ft Jennings-11am- memorial service at Mount Calvary Cemetery,service at 11:30 at Ottawa River Church; service at Rymer Cemetery at 12:30pm. Services at Ft Jennings Memorial Hall and St. Joseph Cemetery at 1pm.
Gilboa-Memorial Services-10:30am at Gilboa United Methodist Church. Parade will begin at 1pm.
Harrod-Memorial Day Garage Sales run 9am to 5pm. Monday in downtown Harrod.
LaFayette- 9:30 am-LaFayette Memorial Day Parade and ceremony will take place in front of the 110 year old Veterans Monument. The historical monument was restored in 2003. Parade begins at 9:30 on Washington Street. Grand Marshall is Cynthia Wood who is also the CEO of the Veterans Memorial Civic Center in Lima.
Leipsic Memorial Day Service-Parade at 10am with service to follow at Sugar Ridge Cemetery at 10:30. BBQ to follow after service at Legion.
Lima-10 am- The Allen County Veterans Council's Memorial Parade will begin at 10 a.m. May 27 on North Main Street and Robb Avenue.
McComb-Parade will start in front of the VFW Post and move to McComb Cemetery at 10am.
Ottawa-10:30 am- Parade will begin at corner of Main and Perry, Kalida and Ottawa Marching Bands will be featured. Memorial service to follow at Putnam County Courthouse.
Waynesfield-Parade begins at 9am to the Willow Branch Cemetery. Service at the cemetery begins at 10am
