We all know that if you gamble, you may lose a bet from time to time. in Wapakoneta, Randy Fisher, the director of United Way of Auglaize County made a deal with the United Way board of trustees and their agencies that if they were able to sell all 150 reverse raffle tickets before the May 18th event he would shave his head.
Sure enough, within a week of making the bet, all of the tickets had been sold and Fisher had to pay up today and out came the clippers.
Fisher made good on the bet and also used the occasion to charge those who wanted to watch.
Cleaning supplies and personal care items were collected at the event and will be sent to Oklahoma on Friday to help out the tornado victims.
