Hancock County -
A rural Hancock County house is a total loss after an early morning fire. Three fire departments responded to a fire at 10509 County Road 26 just after 4:30 this morning. When they got there, firefighters found the attic completely engulfed in flames. It appears that the fire started in the back of the house and was electrical. Crews from Arlington, Jenera, and Rawson responded to the fire. A dog alerted the family and nobody was injured. Arlington firefighters were called back around 10:30 this (Thursday) morning for a rekindle.
