A lot of travelers hitting the interstate Sunday, on their way home from an extended 4th of July holiday weekend.
This is the first weekend since the speed limit was raised on parts of the interstate in Ohio.
Some, but not all parts of Allen County have the new 70 mile per hour limit.
State troopers have been out dealing with the higher limits, some resulting in crashes where a motorist may have been following too close to another vehicle.
Trooper Robert Burd with the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says it's been very easy to catch speeders going above the new limit.
Burd says so far it's been a fairly safe holiday weekend.
Only 3 fatalities have been reported across Ohio, none from this area.
