Hancock County -
Heavy rain in Hancock County is causing some flooding resulting in road closures Tuesday evening.
Howard Street in Findlay is currently closed from Broad Avenue to the rear of the Trenton Avenue Walmart. The Blanchard River is still below flood stage, but it will only take an inch to an inch and a half of water for moderate to severe flooding to occur. More rain is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and all the city can do is watch and wait.
Mayor Mihalik says Findlay is no stranger to flooding, and they're prepared for whatever the weather brings.
