Lima's 6th ward councilman says that something needs to be done to get information coming in on several unsolved murders in the city.
Derry Glenn heading up a reward fund to help families of murder victims in hopes of finding new information surrounding the killing of their loved one.
Glenn already has $1,500 in the fund and is hoping to reach $5,000. He feels that the money may get people talking and it will only be rewarded if someone is prosecuted in the cases.
Cases including Craig Simpson who was killed October 10th of 2000 and Jon Bryant who was killed January 11th 2002. Glenn says the families just want answers and it is time for community members to step up and help.
Glenn says that he will keep the fund through October 31st. If no one has been prosecuted in connection to any of the cases by then the money will be given back to those who donated.
