Join the revolution, this year's slogan at the Northwest Ohio Independent Film Festival. Over 200 entries from around the world have been judged down to 30 films to be viewed at the event.
Independent films from Belgium, Spain, Iran, the United States and others will be shown at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center, Friday September 20th and Saturday the 21st. The two days will be filled with viewings, a student film festival, a screen writers reading, and the annual late night comedy horror movie on the parking garage rooftop.
The opening night feature movie is a documentary made in Findlay detailing the murder of a young woman in March of 2011 titled, "Good Night Sugar Babe, the killing of Vera Jo Reigle". Tickets for the festival can be purchased at the Civic Center box office or online at www.nwoff.org. You can get a single viewing ticket, a day or weekend pass and a VIP pass is also for purchase. The late night viewing on the roof is free and open to the public.
