Medcorp Ambulance Service has announced the closing of its Lima operation.
Lima fire chief, Mark Heffner, said he was given less than 24 hour notice. Now, the fire department and LACP will be picking up the duties that Medcorp performed for the city.
Heffner says things may be difficult at first, but they are preparing for the change.
Overall, Heffner says all emergency facilities are ready to fill the duties of the city.
Your News Now contacted Medcorp and their representatives could only confirm that they were closing the Lima operation Friday, September 6. They said they will be able to give more information at a later date.
