Lima Ohio -
Lima City Council had a lengthy agenda to get through for its first meeting of September.
Council passed an ordinance to sell three parcels of land to Kentucky Deal Holdings for development of a convenience store and gas station. The investment will create six jobs. Council also passed legislation to apply for state issue one funds to be used for resurfacing projects.
Council President John Nixon says the funds help pay for a large portion of these projects.
Nixon says the state issue one funds also help bring money from the state to the local level.
