Tibetan Monks making a stop in Findlay this week to create a sand Mandela at Kan Du Studio. The creation of the sand Mandela began on Tuesday and wrapped up Friday evening.
Kan Du Studio allows disabled people to practice art, and were happy to host the visit. Throughout the week, people stopped in to see the monks and their hard work. For the monks, it's about giving back to the residents.
Bringing monks into Kan Du Studio not only allows people to see their hard work, but the hard work of the students of Kan Du. Meeting and working with the monks was an enriching life experience for all of the students.
