LIMA, OHIO -
Construction is currently underway on a $2.5 million multipurpose center at Rhodes State College.
The addition is connected to Keese Hall and will seat between 350 and 500 people depending on the setup. College president, Debra McCurdy says the facility can be used for events like student orientations and community activities.
The 9,000 square foot construction project started in May and is expected to be finished in December. This is the second expansion on campus in the last 18 months. Between the two projects, more than $5 million have been invested in campus improvements.
