They're in week three of training, and so far, the five participating organizations are satisfied. We Care At Work was implemented to address the problem of drug use in the work place. The four week session has addressed drug-free education, policy development and initiating employee services. An employee that uses drugs is less productive, more likely to steal, and can be a safety hazard. Some businesses invest thousands of dollars in an employee, and it makes sense to address the issue of drug abuse instead of terminating the employee.
