Findlay, Ohio -
There are six proposed changes for the zoning code; but out of the proposals, the most significant change residents will see are new parking lot requirements and the impact of removing buildings.
Downtown Findlay is the only commercial part of the city that does not require parking requirements. Now the city planning commission wants anyone constructing parking on Main Crossing street to build a wall and landscaping.
The removal of buildings also left holes behind and those are also being addressed for more downtown opportunities.
If the city council approves the downtown screening before the end of the year, Findlay will see many changes within in the next two years.
