A new trial date is set for one of the men accused in
a June murder.
Lima resident Randell Howard Jr. is charged with
aggravated murder in the June 24th shooting death of Joshua Davenport.
During the hearing, Howard's trial date was moved from November 19th to February 25th.
Howard had previously been assigned a public defender.
However, he has now hired a lawyer from Columbus to represent him.
Howard is being held at the Allen County jail.
A second man, Mikel Johnson has also been charged with murder in the case.
