The big event is Thursday, but organizers and volunteers are already cooking, cleaning, and decorating for the annual Jerry Lewis' McDonald's Thanksgiving Dinner.
The dinner was started in 1989 by the Chester Carey family. However, this is the 9th year that the dinner is being put on by Jerry Lewis' McDonalds. Organizers expect to serve about 3,200 guests. Because the event is so large, running it requires a great deal of people, planning and of course, food.
The meal will be served from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. at the Veteran's Memorial Civic and Convention Center. It's free and open to the public.
