KENTON, OHIO -
Out of 4,000 Ohio schools, 37 of them received the recognition title of "High Progress School of Honor." Hardin Central Elementary School received the award on Thursday.
In order to receive the award, Hardin Central achieved an Annual Measurable Objectives Grade of C or higher, and met or exceeded Ohio's Value Added Measure for the past three years. Rewarding teachers, administrators and students for hard work, is something State Superintendent of Schools, Richard Ross, is happy to do.
Kenton City Schools plans to merge the elementary buildings in the coming year, and in turn spread the success at Hardin Central throughout all of the classrooms. Teachers, students and administrators were all thanked for their efforts in receiving the award.
