Expressing yourself through art is the foundation of
the Ohio Council for the Arts and their residency programs. Modern dance
being performed by the Inlet Dance Company out of Cleveland caught the
attention of students and staff at Marimor this afternoon.
company, as the founder says, is not a "tutu" dance company but a
rough and tumble company, as they use athleticism in their dancing. They
hope to expose the students to a world of dance unfamiliar to them and
teach them to express themselves with dance.
The residency will wrap up
in three weeks when students present their own dance concert with what
they learned from the experience.
