LIMA, OHIO -
Council discussed subjects concerning the construction of sidewalks, contracts with the Allen Soil and Water Conservation, and business from individual committee meetings.
During the communication, the council approved legislation to apply for an Ohio EMS 2,500 grant the fire department attempts annually. The grant would fund EMS training and pay for the cost of a piece of equipment.
On the other hand, the city will also gain access to state dollars to demolish abandoned and unsalable homes which is believed to be a positive.
Council will meet next for more city business on March 10.
