The orange barrel season seems to be year round
lately as major road construction projects continue in the Lima area.
motoring public will find travel on 309 East a little easier in a
couple of weeks but it's just temporary. All lanes will be open as crews
will finish the bridge embankments but lane restrictions will be back
when temperatures rise and permanent pavement is laid down.

will begin soon at the Breese Road exit. Slusher says they will continue
to maintain 2 lanes on the interstate throughout the construction. They
hope construction from 4th to 81 will be complete by November 1st as
they have a "no excuse" policy with the contractor which will give them a
1.5 million dollar bonus by finishing early.
