It was a horrific crime that left a community in shock as a father and daughter are found dead in their home back in November of 2011. One man charged in the murders has pleaded guilty and the other man was back in a Mercer County court room Monday afternoon.
Bryant Rhoades was indicted on 27 counts in the brutal murder of Robert Grube and his daughter Colleen. He is facing 14 charges including aggravated murder, kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
During a motion to suppress hearing in front of Mercer County Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Ingraham late Monday, Rhoades spoke to the court, expressing frustration over a number of issues, but no action was taken.
Rhoades next date in court is scheduled for April 15th. Trevin Sanders Roark also charged in the Grube murders pleaded guilty to a negotiated plea back in February and is scheduled for sentencing in mid-April.
