Linda Hamilton is getting acquainted with the West Ohio Food Bank on her first day. Hamilton is bringing 24 years of non-profit leadership, board operations, strategic planning and business development as the new Chief Executive Officer at the West Ohio Food Bank. Previously Hamilton served as Vice President of the Findlay Digital Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University. She was interested in the position at the food bank after being involved with the backpack program at the Findlay YMCA. Kids would bring home food in backpacks over the weekend. She said those kids were sharing their food with their siblings, because they didn't have any food in the home. Hamilton is excited to be apart of such a successful organization. The position needed filled after former CEO Gary Bright departed in February. There will be a meet and greet with Linda on July 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the West Ohio Food Bank.
