Ohio Northern held their commencement ceremony Sunday afternoon for students graduating from the Pettit College of Law. The commencement speaker for the ceremony, attended Ohio Northern for both his undergrad and graduate degree. He went on to eventually be chief of strategic military justice for the United States Air Force. He told us he hopes students learn from his speech to live in the moment.
"Some of the best advice I got was from my first boss who was a POW in Vietnam, and what he basically said is slow down, and enjoy life and each day as a gift, because he kept saying I was rushing through things so fast, that I wasn't enjoying life itself," Col. William E. Orr Jr. said.
Sixty-nine students received their degree at the ceremony.
