Hi West Central Ohio! My name is Tyler Sebree, I'm from Cincinnati and I joined the WLIO weather team in December of 2016 as the Morning & Noon Meteorologist. I previously worked in Rockford, Illinois as the Weekend Meteorologist & Weekday Reporter. I've been fascinated with the weather for as long as I can remember. By age 5, I knew exactly what I wanted to do: work on TV as a meteorologist. I was obsessed with everything about the weather and anything pertaining to geography. In 5th grade, I actually defeated his teacher on the states and capitals test. During my childhood I made my own weather maps and forecasts, and delivered them to my family and friends. At times, they may have gotten a little annoyed with my constant asking of their attention!
I attended Colerain High School on Cincinnati's north side. I started my collegiate career at the University of Cincinnati before transferring to THE Ohio State University to pursue degrees in Atmospheric Science and Psychology. Upon graduation, I immediately began working at a news station in Rockford, Illinois. I worked there for nearly a year and a half before returning to my home state of Ohio!
When I'm not obsessing over the weather and constantly checking forecast models, I enjoy both playing and watching sports, hanging out with friends, enjoying the outdoors, visiting coffee shops and local restaurants, eating, and traveling. I am an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bearcats, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
One fun fact about me is that I am VERY addicted to coffee, especially Starbucks. You can find me at a coffee shop seven days a week. Another is I absolutely love visiting and exploring new places and going on random adventures!
